if you hold flower power you can do hot FIRE!!
if you smash brick's you mite find cool stuff!
yoshi's have big tummy's and can eat stuff!
you can kick turtles around!but watch out! it might smack ya back!
Wanna run fast? Hold down B while walking and your Mario Brother will break into a sprint. Like this h e ca n run ov er very sma ll gaps without f all ing down. Also, if you jump while running you will jump much higher.
If you hold the A button down for longer then Mario will jump higher.
Bad guys on top of bricks can be bashed from below if they are standing on blocks. Don't bump into any or you will die.
Pick up a green mushroom for an extra life. You can also collect 100 coins for an extra life. Killing many enemies in quick succession also bags you a 1-UP. (Depends how many points each one is worth)
In every castle and any level in world 8, try not to die because you will always return to the beginning of the level. In any other level though, you will start about halfway through the level (supposing you get that far that is.)
